How can I manage my spending and use my device with confidence?

Keep an eye on your usage throughout the month

  • Download the My Vodafone app or log into My Vodafone to see your usage, previous bills, and your current charges
  • If you’re a Pay as you go customer, you can also call 2345 free from your Vodafone mobile to check your remaining balance

How to know if you’re overspending

It’s useful to keep an eye on your usage – but don’t worry – we’ll also text you when you’re reaching the limit of your allowance. We’ll text you again when you’ve exceeded your allowance. Depending on your plan, you’ll receive additional notifications for every 250MB or 500MB used, until you spend £26 on out-of-plan data charges. 

Tips for controlling your monthly spend

  • If you find you’ve reached your limit, you can add extra data to your monthly allowance in My Vodafone or the My Vodafone app 
  • Move to a different plan which suits you better. You can do this in My Vodafone or in the My Vodafone app 
  • You can add a cap on your data usage in My Vodafone to help you avoid exceeding your monthly data allowance
  • You can also get tips on managing your data usage by changing settings in your apps or device when you’re running lower on data
