When and how can I upgrade my Pay monthly phone contract?

Your upgrade date depends on the type of plan or bundle you have, and how long you’ve been with us.
 
If you took up one of our Essentials, Red Extra or Red Entertainment plans (either as a new customer or as an upgrading customer) on or after 12 April 2017, you can upgrade after 6 months with a Flexi-upgrade. Note: if you joined through a third party such as Carphone Warehouse, or if you’ve migrated from another price plan purchased prior to 12 April 2017, you won’t be eligible for a Flexi-upgrade.

If your contract started before 12 April 2017, please check the My Vodafone app or log in to My Vodafone to see if you’re eligible for an upgrade. If you’re eligible and you’d like to upgrade, you can start a Live Chat at any time, call 191 free from your Vodafone mobile, or pop into your nearest store

If you’re a Business customer and you have an account manager or Prime Contact, you could discuss your upgrade options with them. Alternatively, you can start a Live Chat with an adviser or pop into your nearest store
