When will my number move across?
On the day your number is due to move, put your Vodafone SIM in an unlocked handset and turn it on.
This should happen between 11am and 5pm on the day your number is scheduled to move to Vodafone. It can sometimes take until the end of the working day. If it hasn’t happened by midnight, please restart your device (with the SIM inserted). If you’re still experiencing issues please get in touch with an agent on Live Chat.
Please note: that you should still be able to receive calls on your old phone until we’ve completed your move, so you shouldn’t miss a thing.
If you’re joining us on Pay as you go you will need to make a call or send a text to activate your number on our network.
If you have an iPhone you may need to adjust some settings.
What happens next?
When your number’s been moved across, we’ll send you a text to welcome you on board.
