If you bought your device directly from us (rather than through a third-party like Carphone Warehouse), then it should already be set up and ready to go.
However, if you're still having problems, you’ll need to update the APN settings – these are the Vodafone network settings which allow you to connect to the internet.
- Text WEB to 40127 (free from your Vodafone mobile)
- You’ll receive a text to let you know your settings are on their way
- You’ll receive a second text containing the settings – simply follow the instructions and save the settings to complete the setup
Please note – on some phones, this message may go into the configuration folder, rather than your usual text message folder

If you didn’t get the text and have checked the configuration folder, you’ll need to update the APN settings manually.

- Choose your device make and model
- Choose Set up phone for internet (if it’s not displayed, go to Office and Leisure in the left-hand menu, then choose Internet) and follow the setup instructions
My device isn’t listed, what should I do?
If your device isn’t listed, you can use the manual settings. However, you’ll need to refer to your phone's user guide or the manufacture's website for instructions on how to enter these. These settings can generally be found within your ‘Mobile Data’ or ‘Mobile Networks’ sections within your phone settings.

Recently updated your iOS software?
If you’re a Pay monthly customer with an iPhone and you've recently updated your iOS software, you don’t need to update your settings – they should be up-to-date.
