How do I report a bereavement?

We’re sorry for your loss – we’ll make this as easy as we can.  

Get in touch and we can close their account, transfer it to someone else, or move it to Pay as you go or another network.  

When you tell us about a bereavement, make sure you have: 

  • The type of account they had – mobile, broadband, or both
  • Their full name  
  • Their date of birth 
  • Their mobile number  
  • Their address 
  • Death certificate registration number 

Choose how you’d like to tell us about a bereavement:  

  • Use our bereavement form 
  • Call us free on 0808 005 7450 – Our phone lines are open Monday to Friday, 8am to 10pm and Saturday to Sunday, 8am to 8pm.

If the team's busy when you phone, you don’t need to wait in the queue. You can choose a time that works for you, and we’ll phone you back. We’ll also send you a text message with more ways to reach us.
