What happens when I pay my Device Plan off in full?

You can make a payment at any time.

If you pay off your Device Plan to schedule, it will simply be closed, and no more payments will be needed. If you still have an active Airtime or Data Plan, this plan will continue. If you have insurance on your device, this will also continue until you cancel your Airtime or Data Plan. Want to cancel your insurance?

This also means you can:

  • Switch networks without paying an ETF
  • Do nothing, and stay on a monthly rolling contract with your existing Xtra Plan benefits
  • Change your plan to a different tariff
  • Upgrade to a new Phone and Airtime Plan.
