Didn’t you say the Fixed Price Promise covered all customers, not just those who took up new contracts during its duration?

We did, and existing customers whose contracts began before we offered the Fixed Price Promise have benefitted from two years of price freezes since April 2014.

Our change in stance isn’t a decision we’ve taken lightly. However, we’re trading in one of the most competitive markets in the world, while continuing to invest vast sums in our network and services. In order to maintain that level of investment we’ve needed to make some changes, and introducing a price rise based on the Retail Price Increase (RPI) once a year seemed to be the fairest way of doing it.
