How do I stop using Pay as you go?

It’s easy to stop using your Pay as you go phone. You simply stop using it and it’ll automatically disconnect after six months. Any remaining credit will be lost, so make sure you use it up first.

If you want to take your mobile number with you to a different network, just request a Porting Authorisation Code (PAC) when you call to cancel. The code will be valid for 30 days.

If you want to continue using your Pay as you go phone on another network, you’ll need to request a Network Unlock Code (NUC). Once you’ve got your NUC, we’ve also got guidance on how to use it
