How do I change my name or title?

There are many reasons why you may need to change your name or title, such as marriage, divorce or gender confirmation (reassignment). Simply follow the step-by-step instructions and we’ll get your details updated as quickly as possible.

Please note: to help prevent fraud, we won’t change the name on your account by phone or online :

  1. Download and print the change your name form [PDF: 60KB]
  2. Make a copy of an official proof of name change document, such as a Marriage or Civil Partnership Certificate
  3. Bring these documents to your nearest Vodafone store or post them to: Vodafone Customer Services, Vodafone House, The Connection, Newbury, Berkshire RG14 2FN

No proof of identity is needed if you want to change your title. For example, if you'd prefer to be known as Mr, Ms or Mx, just get in touch.
