Our services for vulnerable customers include:
- Text Relay – this allows users to make and receive calls via a third-party operator who translates the text to speech (and vice versa). You don’t need to register for this service.
- Free Directory Enquiries (195) – this enables vulnerable customers to make 10 free directory enquiries calls a day. Call 195 to register for this service.
To register for any of the following three services, just call our customer services team on 08080 034515. Calls are free from landlines and Vodafone mobiles, and charged at your operator’s standard rate from other mobiles.
- Priority Fault Repair – gives priority to house-bound customers who need an urgent repair to their home phone service
- Third Party Bill Management / Notification – if you depend on your home phone, you can get extra support by nominating someone to deal with phone bills for you
- Different formats – we can provide literature and information in large print, Braille or audio formats for customers with restricted vision or hearing
