How do I set up Smart Divert on my business phone service?

Turn it on

Dial the code followed by the phone number (including area code) you want to divert the call to:

• *21* – diverts all calls immediately to your chosen number
• *61* – diverts calls not answered within 15 seconds
• *67* – diverts calls only when you’re on another call

For example, if you want to divert all calls to your home number 01234 567890, you’d dial *21*01234567890

Turn it off

Dial the code:

• #21# – turn off diverted calls to your chosen number
• #61# – turn off diverted calls not answered within 15 seconds
• #67# – turn off diverted calls when you’re on another call

Check if it's on

Type in the code and, at the same time, hold down #

• *21* – turn off diverted calls to your chosen number
• *61* – turn off diverted calls not answered within 15 seconds
• *67* – turn off diverted calls when you're on another call

To divert calls from your business landline phone, dial the code followed by the phone number (including area code) you want to divert the call to, then press #

• *44* – diverts all calls immediately to your chosen number
• *64* – diverts calls not answered within 15 seconds
• *65* – diverts calls only when you're on another call

If you enter your PIN or the phone number incorrectly, just hang up at any point and start again.

Turn it on

1. Dial the access number and wait for the dial tone
2. Key in *[code]*
3. Enter your PIN and type in *[your full business landline number]*
4. Enter the telephone number you want to divert the calls to
5. Press #

Turn it off

1. Dial the access number and wait for the dial tone
2. Type in #[divert code]*
3. Enter your PIN and type in *[your full business landline number]#

Check if it's on

1. Dial the access number and wait for the dial tone
2. Key in # and * together
3. Type in the remote divert code and press *
4. Enter your PIN and type in *[your full business landline number]#
