  • How do I get a Network Unlock Code (NUC)?

If you're currently a Vodafone customer, just fill in our Network Unlock Code online form

If you're switching from another network to Vodafone and bringing your device, you may need to get a NUC from your old provider to unlock it, before you can use it with us.

You don't need to be the account holder to get a NUC.

    Not a Vodafone customer?

Most of our devices are already unlocked. Try using a SIM from another network in your phone before requesting a code - if it works, your phone is already unlocked.

Phones from the following companies are always sold unlocked: Apple, Google, OnePlus, Oppo, Xiaomi.

Unfortunately, we can't supply a NUC if you didn’t buy your phone directly from Vodafone - for example, if you bought it from Carphone Warehouse. Please contact the shop where you bought it.

If a friend or family member gave you the phone, the easiest thing is for them to unlock it for you. It doesn't matter if they've already upgraded or left Vodafone.
