I want to cancel the insurance for my device

You can cancel your insurance by calling our insurance team on 03333 043 346. They can also help if you want to find out about other insurance options. 

The line is open: 

  • Monday to Friday, 8am to 8pm 
  • Weekends and bank holidays, 9am to 6pm

You’ll need to include: 

  • Your full name 
  • The mobile number linked to the device that your insurance protects 
  • The mobile device IMEI number – find out how to get your IMEI number
  • The make and model of the device you want to cancel the insurance on 
  • The email address on your Vodafone account – unless you’re already using it to send the email 

Our insurance team aim to respond to you within one working day. 

If they need more information or they can’t verify your account, they’ll email you. They won’t cancel your insurance until they have all the information they need. 

When cancelling the insurance, you can get a part refund which will depend on the date of the initial cancellation request. If you cancel within 30 days of your insurance start date, you’ll get a full refund. 

What if I’m within my three-month minimum period? 

You can cancel at any time within the first 30 days. After this, if you ask to cancel your insurance before three months has passed, your insurance will only stop after the three-month minimum period is over.
