When and how can I upgrade my Pay monthly phone contract?

Your upgrade date depends on the type of plan you have, and how long you’ve been with us.

You can view your upgrade eligibility date in the My Vodafone app or in My Vodafone online:

  • In the app: Choose ‘My products and services’ in the menu followed by ‘Your bundle’
  • In My Vodafone: choose ‘Upgrade or change bundle’ in the menu after logging in.

Pay monthly phone contract Flexi-upgrades

If you joined or upgraded on or after 12 April 2017 to one of our Essentials, Red Extra or Red Entertainment plans, you can upgrade after six months with a Flexi-upgrade 

SIM only flexible upgrades

If you’ve had a 12-month SIM only plan for at least three months, you’ll qualify for a flexible upgrade to a Pay monthly phone plan. If you’re eligible and you’d like to upgrade, simply get in touch using the links at the end of this answer.

If you’re a Business customer and you have an account manager or Prime Contact, you should discuss your upgrade options with them.
