How do I recycle my old phone?

Just take your phone in to any Vodafone store – we’ll re-use or recycle it, and give the proceeds to the Vodafone Foundation to help fund social investment programmes worldwide.

We accept phones and accessories from any manufacturer or network. Even very old phones that have been gathering dust at the back of a drawer for a few years can be recycled.

The UK Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Regulations place an environmental responsibility on producers and distributors of electronic equipment. Much of the UK’s electrical and electronic equipment ends up in landfill, where lead and other toxins can cause soil and water contamination.

All new electrical goods are marked with a crossed-out wheelie bin symbol. This means they should be disposed of separately to normal household waste.
