Not our network?

It might be your mobile plan. Our Unlimited and Unlimited Lite mobile plans come with different maximum data speeds. Check which plan you've got in My Vodafone - tap Plan Details on your dashboard.

  • Unlimited Lite
    Maximum data speed – 2Mbps
    You should be able to: browse the internet, message and email, check social media, stream music.
     
  • Unlimited
    Maximum data speed – 10Mbps
    You should be able to do everything you can do on Unlimited Lite, plus: send and receive images, audio and video files, download and update apps, stream HD TV shows and films, play single player online games.

Not our network?

  1. Check your data is turned on

    If your data is turned off, you won’t be able to use your mobile connection to get online.

    Find out how to turn your data on or off


  2. Check you’ve got enough data

    If you’ve used up your data, you might have problems getting online. 

    Check how much data you’ve got left


  3. Check if your data is capped 

    You might also have a bar on your account. This stops you from using more data than you have in your plan, and racking up unexpected charges. 

    You can change this whenever you like.

  4. Check you’re connected to Vodafone

    Sometimes, a device can auto-connect to the wrong provider’s network. This will stop your data from working. 

    Set Vodafone as your network


  5. Check your APN settings are right

    Your Access Point Name (APN) settings contain all the info your device needs to connect to our network.

    If these aren’t right, your device won’t connect.

    Reset your APN settings


  6. Restart your device

    You’d be surprised how many problems sort themselves out with the old ‘turn it off, then back on again’ fix.
