How do I lock my SIM?

Locking your SIM means a PIN will be needed each time you restart or if it’s placed in another device.

You can lock your SIM in your device’s settings menu:

Android

1. In the settings menu, select the More tab and choose Security
2. Select Set up SIM card lock
3. Select Lock SIM card
4. Finally, enter your chosen PIN 
5. Your SIM will now be locked

iPhone

1. In the settings menu, select Phone
2. Select SIM PIN
3. Press the switch to activate your SIM PIN
4. Finally, enter your chosen PIN 
5. Your SIM will now be locked

Please note: the default PIN on all Vodafone SIM cards is 0000.
