What’s Vodafone Sure Signal?

From 30 April 2020, we stopped selling Sure Signal.

Instead of Sure Signal, you’ll be able to use WiFi Calling. It’s free to set up and it won’t cost you anything extra.

If you’ve already got Sure Signal, don’t worry – you can continue to use it as normal and, if you need to, still get help from our in-store and online advisers.

How does Sure Signal work?

Sure Signal uses your home broadband connection to create a 3G signal – ideal if you live in an area where there isn’t great mobile phone reception.

You can add up to 32 numbers to your Sure Signal, and it can handle up to 8 calls at once.

To use Sure Signal, you need:

  • An available wall socket – to plug in your Sure Signal device
  • A mobile phone, voice-enabled tablet or dongle that’s connected to our mobile network
  • A broadband connection with an upload and download speed of at least 1Mbps
