Will I have to pay for the repair?

You’ll need to pay for a repair if:

  • Your device is within its warranty period, but has physical* or liquid damage
  • Your device is outside its warranty period

If your device is within its warranty period and doesn’t have any physical or liquid damage, you won’t need to pay for a repair.

The cost of the repair will depend on the type of device, the manufacturer and the extent of any damage. You can generally expect to pay between £50 for basic phones and around £275 for devices such as iPads, which we return to an Apple repair centre. We’ll always contact you first before carrying out any chargeable repairs.

* Physical damage isn’t always external or visible. If you drop your phone, components can become dislodged - which affects its functionality.
