Find out how to cancel the insurance for your device – this also applies to all our business and corporate customers.
You can cancel your insurance by contacting Vodafone Insurance Services on 03333 043 346. The line is open from 8am to 8pm on Monday to Friday, and 9am to 6pm on weekends and bank holidays.
You can also send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org providing:
- Your full name
- The mobile number linked to the device that your insurance protects
- The first line of your address and postcode on your Vodafone account
- The make and model of the device you want to cancel the insurance on
- The email address on your Vodafone account – unless you’re already using it to send the email
The inbox is monitored Monday to Friday, 8am to 5:30pm. Your request will either be completed within one working day, or you’ll be contacted during these times.
If more information is needed or your Vodafone account can’t be verified, you’ll receive an email to let you know. Your insurance won’t be cancelled until all the required information is received and confirmed with you, or your Vodafone account is verified.
When cancelling the insurance, part refunds will be applied based on the date of the initial cancellation request.
What if I’m within my three-month minimum period?
If you’re outside your 30-day cooling off period but still within the three-month minimum period, you won’t be able to cancel the insurance until that period has ended. Payments will continue until the end of the minimum period if you request cancellation now.
