How do I manage call diverts?

You can automatically send incoming calls to another phone number – a landline or mobile. 

If you're on Pay as you go, you can only divert incoming calls to voicemail.

Choose an option to find out how to manage it on your phone.

Divert all calls to voicemail

If you're on Pay monthly or have a Pay as you go Big Value Bundle, diverting calls to voicemail will use minutes from your allowance.

If you haven't got any minutes left or you're in a roaming zone where you can't use your plan like at home, standard call charges apply

Set up

  • Call 1212

Turn off

  • Call 1211 to return to the standard voicemail service – if you're busy, unreachable or don't answer in 15 seconds.
  • Call 1210 to turn off voicemail completely.

Divert all calls to another number

Set up

  • Call **21* followed by the number you want to divert your calls to (replace the first 0 with +44) then press #
  • You'll get a pop-up message saying call forwarding is on.

Turn off

  • Call ##21#
  • You'll get a pop-up message saying call forwarding is off.

Check status

  • Call *#21#
  • You'll get a pop-up message saying if call forwarding is on or off.

Divert all missed or unanswered calls to another number

Set up

  • Call **61* followed by the number you want to divert your calls to (replace the first 0 with +44) then press #
  • You'll get a pop-up message saying call forwarding is on.

Turn off

  • Call ##61#
  • You'll get a pop-up message saying call forwarding is off.

Check status

  • Call *#61#
  • You'll get a pop-up message saying if call forwarding is on or off.

Divert calls when your phone is busy

Set up

  • Call **67* followed by the number you want to divert your calls to (replacing the first 0 with +44) then press #
  • You'll get a pop-up message saying call forwarding is on.

Turn off

  • Call ##67#
  • You'll get a pop-up message saying call forwarding is off.

Check status

  • Call *#67#
  • You'll get a pop-up message saying if call forwarding is on or off.

Divert calls when your phone is switched off

Set up

  • Call **62* followed by the number you want to divert your calls to (replace the first 0 with +44) then press #
  • You'll get a pop-up message saying call forwarding is on.

Turn off

  • Call ##62#
  • You'll get a pop-up message saying call forwarding is off.

Check status

  • Call *#62#
  • You'll get a pop-up message saying if call forwarding is on or off.

Cancel all call diverts

  • Call ##002# to cancel all active call diverts.
  • You'll get a pop-up message saying call forwarding is off.

Change the ring time before diverting

  • Call **61* followed by the number you want to divert your calls to (replace the first 0 with +44) followed *10* and the number of seconds you want to change it to and end with #
  • You'll get a pop-up message saying your change is successful.
