How do I set up my phone for internet access and picture messaging (MMS)?

If you’re struggling to send a picture message or access the internet on your phone, you’ll need to update your settings.

There are two ways to do this:

Update by text

Text WEB to 40127 (free from your Vodafone mobile). You’ll receive a text to let you know your settings are on their way, and then a second text with instructions or a notification – simply follow the steps.

Update manually

If you’ve already tried to update by text and your second text hasn’t come through, or you’ve been instructed to update your settings manually, you can find step-by-step instructions for your phone in our device guides.

  • Go to Device guides
  • Choose your device type if not already selected
  • Choose Office and Leisure in the menu
  • Choose Set up phone for internet

You’ll need to find Mobile data options or Network options in your device settings and enter the Vodafone APN details.

  • For Pay monthly enter
  • For Pay as you go enter
