How do I know if I’m using 4G abroad?

If you’re using 4G, your device will show a 4G symbol at the top of the screen. It’s enabled by default on 4G devices. Please check the manufacturer’s website to see if your device supports 4G.

You should benefit from faster speeds when using 4G for browsing and downloading, although speeds can vary depending on coverage and demand. Under standard conditions, you should notice the difference in browsing speeds between 4G and 3G.

In countries where 4G is available you can use 4G at no additional cost to your standard roaming charges, providing you have a 4G device and bundle in the UK
