How can I connect to the London Underground Wifi?

If you’ve just joined us, it can take up to 24 hours for your phone to be authorised to auto-connect to our London Underground WiFi service.

You should automatically connect to Wifi on the Underground providing your device is compatible, you have a Vodafone SIM inserted, and you have Wifi switched on in your settings.

If this doesn’t happen:

For iOS devices:

• Make sure Wifi is switched on in your device settings
• Make sure you’re in range of a Vodafone Wifi hotspot

For Android devices:

• Make sure Wifi is switched on in your device settings
• Make sure you’re in range of a Vodafone Wifi hotspot
• Make sure your device’s Wifi settings are configured for use of EAP-AKA or EAP-SIM while you’re in range of Vodafone Wifi coverage. This can be checked and re-configured in your device settings.

If you’re still unable to connect automatically to Vodafone Wifi while on the London Underground, it may be possible that your plan doesn’t include mobile data, your device may not be capable of auto connecting to Vodafone Wifi, or auto connection may be limited by your company.

If you’re having problems auto connecting, it’s still possible to manually connect to Wifi on the Underground:

• Navigate to your device Wifi settings
• Select the VodafoneWiFi hotspot
• Open your internet browser - this may automatically appear on iOS devices
• Enter the username and password you use for your My Vodafone account
• Once connected to the WiFi hotspot, tap done or refresh the browser
• Please visit our Wifi page for more information
