The Vodafone SmartPass service – which enabled customers to make contactless payments under £30 with their smartphone – ended on 15 November 2016. As a Vodafone SmartPass customer, this means:
- You can no longer make contactless payments with your SmartPass card on Vodafone Wallet, SmartPass Tag and SmartPass companion card
- You can no longer access your SmartPass account through the Vodafone Wallet and SmartPass apps, and the Vodafone SmartPass website is also no longer available
- All SmartPass TopUp channels are now closed
We notified all our SmartPass customers at regular intervals from 15 September 2016 about the planned end to the service. Find out more about our replacement service, Vodafone Pay.
