Setting up your Home Broadband may require help from a Vodafone engineer. If this is the case, we’ll let you know when you buy it.
If you’re having a new line installed, by an engineer, you should plug in your router before 8am on your activation day. This will help the engineer confirm the connection. Your service will be live by midnight on that day.
If an engineer is not needed, you can follow our router setup guide. Then, simply plug in your router and sit tight – your service will be live by midnight on that day.
Please note: if your service is being transferred from another provider, such as Sky or BT, please don’t plug in your Vodafone router until your service with them has ended.
All new Gigafast Broadband customers will need an engineer visit to install the service, so make sure you have your router handy for their arrival (this will have been delivered a few days before your installation date). They will then install your service and ensure everything is working during their visit. They’ll even connect you to your Wi-Fi and check your phone is working.
