How do I set up my single or multiple Static IP addresses for my Business Broadband service?

Setting up a single Static IP address

We set up the single Static IP on the LAN radius, so you’ll only need to configure your network to direct traffic from the Static IP address to your network.

You can find full step-by-step instructions in our Vodafone Business Static IP user guide [PDF: 386KB]

Setting up multiple Static IP addresses

We set up the Static IPs on the LAN radius, so you’ll only need to configure your network to direct traffic to it from the Static IP addresses.

Each address follows the same format: four blocks of digits, each separated by a dot, then a final number after a slash. The number before the slash can be used to identify your usable IP addresses. For example, if your range is 30.30.30.0/29, this means you can use 30.30.30.1 to 30.30.30.6.  The first and last of the range are fixed for your network address (router) and broadcast address respectively, and can’t be used for your server, webcam or any other purpose.

So, if your IP range is 30.30.30.0/29 as indicated above, your IP addresses would be:

30.30.30.0      Network address (for your router - not usable)
30.30.30.1      usable
30.30.30.2      usable
30.30.30.3      usable
30.30.30.4      usable
30.30.30.5      usable
30.30.30.6      usable
30.30.30.7      Broadcast address (not usable)
