What is Amazon Prime Video?

Amazon Prime Video lets customers stream thousands of movies and TV episodes, including award-winning Prime Originals, with select titles in stunning 4K/HDR on compatible devices.

Prime Originals include The Grand Tour, Sneaky Pete, American Gods, the critically acclaimed The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel and the upcoming Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan. Popular Prime Exclusives include titles such as Lucifer, Vikings, Preacher and Marvel’s upcoming Cloak and Dagger.  There is also a range of content for the whole family including Peppa Pig, Just Add Magic, Paw Patrol, Paddington 2 and more. For sport buffs, the Prime Original, All or Nothing documentary series gives a unique behind the scenes looks at our favourite teams, including the All Blacks, and soon our very own Manchester City.

With Prime Video, you can download select movies and TV episodes included in Prime Video to compatible mobile devices, so they’re available to play even without a data connection. Compatible devices include certain:

  • Android phones and tablets
  • iOS devices
  • Fire tablets
  • Fire phone

Once the download is complete, a “downloaded” or “check mark” icon displays in the video details.

Customers can access Prime Video across a variety of devices, including certain Smart TVs, games consoles, phones, tablets and laptops.

  • Amazon Fire TV & Fire TV Stick
  • Set-top boxes (e.g. Roku)
