I can’t use any data on my Red+ bundle – what do I do?

If you’re a Red+ Leader

If you’ve had your Red+ data capped and reached your data limit, you have a number of options. If you find you’re consistently reaching your data cap, it may be worthwhile upgrading to a bundle with a larger data allowance.

For less frequent occasions, you can buy extra data to top up your monthly allowance. Simply text BUY DATA followed by 1GB or 2GB to 40506. 1GB will cost £6 a month, and 2GB costs £10 a month.

Alternatively, you can simply wait until your monthly allowance renews. To check when your next monthly allowance begins, log in to My Vodafone or the My Vodafone app

If you’re a Red+ Sharer

If you’re a Red+ Sharer and you can’t use data services, you may have reached your monthly allowance. You can ask the Leader to increase your monthly allowance, or wait until the following month’s allowance begins. Alternatively, your group may have reached its monthly data allowance, so it’s best to contact the Leader.

Note: it can take a couple of hours for any data changes to take effect. So, if you buy extra data or begin your next month’s allowance, you might not be able to use your data immediately.

If you can’t access data services two hours after buying extra data or beginning your next month’s allowance, try turning your device off and on again. Contact us if the problems persist.
