I’ve bought a Data Extra – why is my cap still switched on?

It usually takes around 5 minutes for a Data Extra to be applied to your allowance. However, it can take up to 24 hours. If your cap is still switched on after this time, you can turn it off in the My Vodafone app using the following steps:

  1. Choose Offers and extras from the main menu
  2. Tap Buy extras
  3. Choose Mobile data options
  4. Using the toggle, switch the Data cap off

Please note: you should only turn the data cap off if your Extra has been added to your allowance. If it hasn't, please contact us
