Why was my phone rejected for trade-in after I sent it in?

If we can’t accept your phone, we’ll send it back to you and cancel the payment.

We can’t trade in phones that are:

  • Blocked – because it’s been reported as lost or stolen   
  • Damaged beyond repair      
  • Security locked – we’ll try to contact you if your phone is locked with Find My iPhone or similar Android security. If we can’t get in touch, we’ll return your phone to you.
